PEARLS OF SLOVENIA
In 2013 we made i bicycletour - a self-guided tour called "Pearls of Slovenia" with the company Helia (cyklingslovenia.com).
The tour brougt us to many of the nice places in Slovenia. Lake Bled - a beautiful glacial lake made famous by its distinctive island church. Bled is one of Slovenia’s most popular tourist attractions, passing Pokljuka to the Bohinj valley and the Lake Bohinj in the Triglav National Park where you have an amazing view to the alps , Skofja Loka, Preddvor, Begunje and Kransjka Gora to mention the places we stayed over night. We also walked the Vintgar Gorge before ending the tour in Bled.
"Pearls of Slovenia" delivered what the advertising promised - we saw many nice places in this beautiful country - it is for sure to recommend a bicycletour in Slovenia.
And - riding by bike is a nice way to "explore" a region.
